Undergraduate Retreat

Calling all Undergrad & Transfer Students!

This retreat is designed by undergrad students for undergrad students. The undergrad students vary in class from freshman to seniors. The retreat takes place in Sierra Vista, AZ. The theme of the retreats vary from year to year. The focus is always to deepen the spirituality of the students. The testimonies of the students come from their soul searching and their challenges in living their faith as a student. The combination of testimonies and small group sharing allows for the retreatant to process deep questions of faith in a safe environment.

The community of students forms a great place for people to walk with the Lord, to grow in understanding and in faith, to rest and to take in the beauty of God’s Creation.

Like the Freshman Retreat, this retreat begins on a Friday evening meeting at the Newman Center around 4:30 and arriving at the camp around 6:00pm. Once again the food on our retreats is excellent. The camp provides rooms to accomodate you with cushioned mats on beds. People are encouraged to bring sleeping bags or bedding, their own pillow, and definitely a flash light. Saturday Night provides an awesome time to take a late night hike under the stars to a giant cross and statue of St. Mary on the nearby mountain.

The restrooms are awesome, and the camp provides clean showers with hot and cold water. The camp is constantly improving and has gotten more comfortable each year.
